Witta is a small residential and farming town located in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, approximately 40 minutes west of Mooloolaba on the coast.
This small town was settled in the 1880s, and today, many people pass through Witta on their way out to the Conondale National Park.

There are some walking tracks found with the Conondale National Park where you can explore the forests, creeks and waterfalls. Stop at one of the picnic areas after your walk or ride and enjoy the use of the picnic tables, BBQ’s and toilets at the Booloumba Creek day-use area beside the creek.
For something different, head east (south first before turning north on Maleny-Kenilworth Rd) and stop at Kondalilla Falls, a beautiful waterfall located within the Kondalilla National Park. Here, you will see a 90m waterfall where the Skene Creek drops to the rainforest valley below. Above the falls, you will see a dense eucalypt forest which joins with a beautiful rainforest. Within the National Park, you will find over 100 bird species, 70 species of reptiles and 30 species of frogs.
