Beachmere is a lovely coastal township in Moreton Bay. Because of its tranquil, relaxed surroundings, this is the ideal getaway for those seeking an escape in nature.

Be sure to check out the pontoon and boat ramp at the end of Saint Smith Road. From here, you can take a boat to explore the areas around the Caboolture River. Boating the river is also a scenic way to visit other attractions, including Pumicestone Passage, Burpengary Creek, Scarborough, Moreton Island, and Deception Bay.

However, you don’t need a boat to have fun in Beachmere. Rent a vessel from one of the many rental shops available on Sandstone Point or Bribie Island. The township is also popular among horse riders and visitors who want to ride on a horse. One can usually see riders that trot by the waterfront.

If you are looking to spend some time here, you don’t need to break the bank. The Beachmere Caravan Park provides an affordable yet restful getaway in a caravan. It’s located by the Caboolture River estuary, and from here, one can spend hours relaxing on the beach, fishing, picnicking, or reading a book. The caravan park is equipped with a camping kitchen, coin-operated laundry, and a spacious amenities block.

Take the whole family for a day of beach fun at the Moreton Terrace Park, too. The sandy shoreline is excellent for small children as they can make sandcastles, take dips, wade, and splash around. Kids also love hunting for soldier crabs during the low tide. Other great destinations in the area include Godwin Beach and the many dog parks here for pets.
