Therefore, the Sunshine Coast Airport (formerly Maroochydore Airport) is a popular domestic airport that serves as the gateway to northern parts of Queensland, including Noosa, Maroochydore, Mooloolaba, Maroochydore, Mooloolaba and Caloundra.

Cheap Flights to Sunshine Coast, From Melbourne & Sydney

Airlines that use this airport include Jetstar, Virgin Australia and Air New Zealand. Each of the three airlines operating has dedicated check-in desks and gates and provide flights to and from Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland each day.

These airlines also provide indirect flights to Adelaide, Hobart and Launceston, passing through Sydney or Melbourne.

To get to and from the Sunshine Coast Airport, taxi services are available, and car hire and shuttle services. The Sunshine Coast shuttle services will take you directly to your accommodation on the Sunshine Coast and might be slightly cheaper than a taxi, depending on how many people you are travelling with.

Buses are also available and are certainly the cheapest way to get into town, but they are slower than other modes of transport.
