Getting There
Public Transport
The Sunshine Coast Show is well supported by local transport. We provide a FREE Show Shuttle bus from the Nambour Train Station which will drop you at the Main gate. Shuttle Bus is available until after the fireworks.
Trains run frequently from Brisbane or Gympie to Nambour on the standard timetable.
TRANSLink buses run regularly between the Nambour train/bus station and the Maroochydore transit centre on Aerodrome Road at Sunshine Plaza.
Car Parking
We have plenty of parking options available!
Where’s the best place to park, though? At the Show, of course! Premium parking is available on the grounds for $10/day – you can come and go to your car as you please. Available at Crushers Car Park – Crushers Leagues Club, Crusher Park Drive, Nambour. (Subject to availability)
Second Closest – Nambour State School $5/day and available all day.
A fun option is to park at the train station in Nambour, which has plenty of free parking, and start your Show experience early with a FREE SHOW shuttle bus ride that will drop you at the main gate.
Taxi
Unfortunately, we do not have a taxi rank, so where you get dropped off is up to you. The Primary School slip lane is a fast drop-off zone, and Crushers Gate or Bli Bli Gate are also easy to drop people off at.
If you arrange a taxi home, please make sure that you stipulate where you would like to be picked up from.
Please note that the Main Gate area will not be used as a drop off area in 2025. This area has been relocated to the slip lane in front of Nambour Primary School.
Uber
The Main Gate area will be closed for any drop-offs in 2025. The drop-off zone will be located in the slip lane at Nambour Primary School.
If you are being picked up, please remember to specify where you would like to be picked up from as we have two gates – Bli Bli and Crushers gates, or you can stipulate Nambour Primary School.
Is there parking for disabled. And are there fireworks at the end of every day? And whar time does it close?
Hi Lesley,
Not sure about disabled parking, as parking is available at the Crusher’s Grounds off Bli Bli Road. Check with traffic controllers who may be able to direct you to reserved spaces.
Fireworks will be held each evening, at 8.30pm on Friday and Saturday night and at 7.15pm on Sunday night.
The show finishes at the conclusion of the fireworks, around 9pm on Friday and Saturday and 8pm on Sunday.
Best regards,
Jess
How do we get to the showgrounds please.
Hi Alana,
You don’t state where you are travelling from, so I am unable to give you specific directions. But the showgrounds are located near the township of Nambour. You can type “Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show” into Google Maps and it will bring up the location for you. We also have a map of the location on our page here.
Best regards,
Jess
