The park’s amenities include a half basketball court, kids’ playground, BBQs, picnic facilities, grassy areas for ball games, toilets, and lots of natural shade. There are benches and seats, though you can also bring your own picnic blanket to lay in the sun. On one pocket of the park is a small skate bowl, sometimes referred to as the Talara Skate Park. Shaded trees frame the skate bowl.

Tumbledown Park has become a family favourite for outings because the play equipment is thoughtfully varied, and the entire space has something to offer for toddlers and older kids. Residents also visit frequently to walk their dogs though it’s best to keep them on a leash here since the park isn’t fenced.

It’s one of the popular spots in Currimundi, a gorgeous town in the Sunshine Coast that’s famed for stunning, clean beaches and several natural attractions.

Other must-visit sights in town include a natural lake linked to a pristine surf beach, so for many outdoor lovers, Currimundi is the place to be. The large lake is simply perfect for frolicking and swimming, especially during the hot summer months. There are extensive walkways and parks on the beachfront for the public’s enjoyment after a swim or for a scenic stroll and exercise. Watersport enthusiasts flock to Currimundi Lake to have a ball kayaking, canoeing, or paddling. Small motorised boats are allowed too so that you can have a go at fishing.

No matter what you want to experience, you’ll surely find it at Tumbledown Park and the rest of Currimundi’s attractions.
