Rocksberg Swimming Hole

The Rocksberg Swimming Hole is located within the heritage reserve near Caboolture.

It’s a shaded rocky hole where you can take the kids and even the dogs for a refreshing swim in the cool river.

This tranquil swimming spot is a beautiful destination for cooling down and unwinding in nature, far away from busy areas. You can’t hear anything except for the trees that rustle in the breeze or birds chirping. Cook up a BBQ in between dips as the kids and dogs run around and swim. The lush, green areas around it provide lots of space for a walk or hike too.

Though the Roksberg Swimming Hole is popular among the young ones, adults will also find that there is so much to do and enjoy here  Take some time to discover the Rocksberg Heritage Park Reserve, which is simply stunning for a family picnic as you are surrounded by wildlife, bushland, and incredible scenery. They offer simple amenities, including BBQs and tables, a shelter, and benches.

As it’s right by the Caboolture River, it would be a shame not to visit this other lovely place that has some fantastic fishing and mud crabbing. The river is abundant with Mary River cod, Australian bass, Surf bream, and Dusky flathead. The river’s weir is suitable for fishing on small vessels and paddle craft, and if you need some facilities nearby, you can check out Apex Park, which is equipped with BBQs, toilets, a playground, and shelter. The park is surrounded by riding and walking tracks, offering even more opportunities for a day out.
