Quota Hideaway Park is a popular children’s playground and off-leash dog area in Mountain Creek.

The park’s main highlight is the multi-play playground designed by Produlic. Their award-winning Kanope range takes its design elements from nature, and the entire area is thoughtfully made so that kids aged three and above will be able to engage in active, imaginary play. They can climb trees, pretend to explore a forest, and learn how to navigate paths using elements that combine nature and modern features.

Quota Hideaway Park’s Kanope has won the Gold award during the 2018 Good Design Award Australia ceremony because of its innovative and inclusive design. They have successfully recreated natural elements, including wild grass, leaves, trees, wildlife, and even waterfalls made of modern material that is also sustainably sourced, recyclable, and low maintenance. In addition, their Pod Swing Rotatwin is another playground feature that kids truly love; it’s made for toddlers aged two and up and was built with three functions in mind. These are swinging, meeting, and resting – all in one safe and fun swing!

The park is also a well-loved area for off-leash dog play. It’s enjoyable in the afternoon as many people bring their friendly dogs. The river beside the park is a terrific place to take your dog for a swim or cool down after playing. The open spaces are perfect for playing frisbee or kicking a football. Since the playground is fenced off from the off-leash area, parents can have peace of mind here. There are no facilities, though bins and dog waste bags are provided. So be sure to pick up after your dog.
