The Noosa Spit Dog Beach also happens to have lots of sticks, so you and your dog can enjoy playing fetch on the sand for hours. During the low tide, the dogs can easily walk across to the sandbar. Just remember to bring your own water, though a tap with a drinking bowl can be found around 10 metres past the beach path on the right. The area is generally quiet most days, making it ideal for taking the whole family along. The spit’s shallow waters are friendly for children to swim in too.
Another excellent dog beach in Noosa is found in the northern corner of Sunshine Beach, right by the borders of the Noosa National Park. If you’d like to take your dog to an off-leash park, you can visit Alex Dan Park, located along Cooyar Street at Noosa Heads and Noosaville Park connected to the beach on the beach Weyba Creek foreshore.
For a fun and safe trip for all involved, always be confident that your dog can easily be controlled and not threaten other animals or people in these locations. Bring along a poop bag and clean up after your pets.
The Noosa Spit Dog Beach is a gorgeous place to bring your pup, don’t miss out on it.
