Noosa Regional Gallery

The Noosa Regional Gallery is one of the top art galleries in the Sunshine Coast.

Located at Tewantin along the scenic Noosa River, the gallery is conveniently located near the Noosa Marina and the main shopping precinct.

They have been around since 1981 and since then have gained a world-class reputation for their diverse and ever-changing displays. One of the most incredible things about this gallery is the showcase of work created by local and national, and internationally renowned artists. They also feature displays sourced from private and corporate collections.

All their amazing collections are highly curated, and their calendar of events is chock-full of interesting masterclasses, workshops, and artist talks for patrons of all ages. Preschool and teen workshops are available, too; these are fantastic for kids who are inclined in art. Anyone visiting Noosa who is interested in art should include the gallery in their itinerary.

The Noosa Regional Gallery is also home to the famous free entry, the biennial eco-art event called Floating Land. It features mind-blowing sculptural installations that are placed on natural sites. It is one of the gallery’s most eventful projects, so don’t miss it. After all, it’s one of the oldest regional galleries in Queensland, making it a top attraction for tourists and visitors from all over Australia.

Drop by the Gallery Shop while here; it boasts many artisan products, including jewellery, homewares, artworks, books, gift cards, and many more. All of the items in the gift shop have been thoughtfully curated and made by local designers.

The Noosa Regional Gallery is open from Tuesdays to Fridays from 10am through 4pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 3pm. It’s closed on Mondays, during exhibit changeovers, and on public holidays.
