If you are visiting the Sunshine Coast, your trip wouldn’t be complete without experiencing this. Each weekend, you’ll find several stages of live entertainment, themed bars, street food, amusement rides for kids and adults, big concerts, and so much more. It takes place each Friday and Saturday, from 4pm to 10pm at The Avenue, so make sure you carve out some weekend time for what will be one of the most memorable evenings you’ll have with local talent.

On Sundays, come for family fun, bars, vintage clothing and décor, designer stalls, and laid-back vibes with the whole family – your puppy included.

NightQuarter has won awards in the past, and it’s not a surprise to see why. These include the Queensland Music Awards – Regional Venue of the Year Finalist in 2017 and 2018, which they finally won in 2019. In addition, they also won the Venue of the Year award in 2016 from the Gold Coast Music Awards. This event has done so much for the local economy and helped put the Gold Coast back on the map for local and international artists while boosting the local performing arts scene. Some big names that have performed here include UB40, Screaming Jets, Simple Plan, and the Cat Empire.

The event is the brainchild of a husband and wife team that operate Food Focus: Michelle Christoe and Ian Van Der Woude. Together, their experience in hospitality, marketing, and food and backgrounds in other projects have conceived an iconic tourist draw. The event is family-friendly though some events have age restrictions. Be sure to purchase your entry passes in advance or online; there are tickets available for single entry, families, and seasonal passes.
