One of the venues here is the Mooloolah Sportsground Skate Park, a top-tier skate park where all bowls and quarters are 4 feet. It also has a pyramid. The skate park puts you close to other facilities, including the Valley Raceway Track, Mooloolah Valley Country Club, and the Hinterland BMX Track. The park also features a full-sized basketball court, drinking water, and toilets.

Other Mooloolah Valley Sports Grounds facilities include soccer and softball fields, tennis courts, and netball courts. Once all those activities have worked up an appetite, head over to the country club. They are popular for their terrific food made with only the freshest local and seasonal ingredients for meals that are as sumptuous as they are affordable. There are several dining areas to choose from, including a casual restaurant, alfresco pergola with a view of the bowling greens, intimate dining room, and an outdoor covered deck.

The grounds are right beside a popular tourist attraction, the Ewen Maddock Dam, which offers lots of exciting outdoor activities to do—on hot days, come by the dam to swim at the designated areas marked by buoys. It’s also a beautiful place to go for a picnic, especially at Maddock Park in the dam, equipped with free BBQs, shelters, picnic tables, and a nearby swimming area. Maddock Park is a terrific destination for bush walking, horse riding, mountain biking, and paddling for those keen to get some healthy activities in.
