Mooloolaba Spit Beach

Mooloolaba Spit Beach is a swimming area located in the southern end of Mooloolaba Beach.

The spit area is generally safe to swim when patrolled, though be sure to only swim in the areas between the flags.

There are occasions when strong currents and flash rips occur. There are instances when the waves here are suitable for surfing, though there are other better surf spots in the area. If you like fishing, check out the entrance walls or the harbourside.
