Maleny Dairies

Maleny Dairies is a family-owned and family-run dairy farm on the Sunshine Coast. Located in the scenic hills of Maleny, the farm is a popular Queensland tourist attraction.

At Maleny Dairies, visitors can see how dairy products are produced and taste their massive range of dairy products available for purchase.

Visitors can visit the dairy farm for a picnic or family gathering and can even use the venue for children’s birthday parties. There is an electric BBQ on site that visitors can use and a small shop on site that sells coffees, milkshakes and soft-serve ice creams.

Visitors are welcome to try and purchase the dairy products during their visit to the farm. The range of products includes bottled milk, flavoured milk, gluten-free yoghurt, custard and cream.

Maleny Dairies is wheelchair accessible and is a great way to spend a few hours in a relaxing environment where you might also learn a thing or two about dairy production. Guided tours of the farm are available from Monday to Saturday.

A guided tour of Maleny Diaries involves a brief talk on the farm’s history and why it was started, and visitors get to see a demonstration of how hand milking is done. Visitors are then taken to see the milk being processed and bottled in the factory and visit the cold room and the dry store. A short video is also shown during the tour that shows the entire process dairy production process. Visitors also get a chance to visit the baby animal pen with a guide to get an opportunity to pat baby calves
