Lions Park (Buderim), Lookout, Playground, BBQ & Picnic Tables, QLD
Lions Park has grown to be a favourite of locals and tourists. It’s a particularly great stop for people travelling through the Bruce Highway so that you can rest for a while from the road with a good cup of tea. The Buderim Lions’ Club sponsors the park’s excellent amenities, so you can expect it always to be well-maintained. After all, it was named after them; the club was established in 1967 and not long later, they worked on developing the park to make use of the land area. They built shade, tables, and chairs that are now enjoyed by visitors every day.
On one end of the park, a majestic Ficus tree stands while its old roots are exposed. This is one of its natural features that show the park’s preserved ancient features while telling the story of Buderim’s rich heritage. Another major highlight of the park is that it offers visitors a unique way to take in the sights, including Mooloolaba, Mountain Creek, Currimundi, Warana, and Caloundra, aside from the typical views found in the headlands around the coast.
Lions Park is a well-loved park that is worth visiting.
