The Korean Veterans War Memorial Queensland is a commemorative tribute in a scenic location.
The monument was gifted by the Republic of Korea and the Korean community to the State of Queensland in August 2011.

The Korean Veterans War Memorial Queensland commemorative mural also includes a primary figurehead representing Australia, Busan War grave, the Koreans’ struggle for freedom, Royal Australian Navy and Fleet Air Arm, Royal Australian Air Force, Royal Australian Regiment in the winter operations and the summer operations. The mural sculptures are nothing short of impressive, making them a must-visit for anyone who wants to learn about history.
The main memorial wall has a dedication plaque, while other plaques that flank the left and right side of the wall explain the contribution of the Australian forces during the Korean war in both Korean and English. The memorial wall is located in a remembrance garden featuring three flag poles representing the United Nations, Australia, and the Republic of Korea.
Meanwhile, the southern area of the memorial features a tribute to the Royal Australian Regiment’s land forces. It even includes the original battlefield stones that were presented in Gapyeong County. The northern end has a special remembrance area dedicated to Korean citizens and veterans.
