As the course is located only 15 minutes of drive from Noosa, it is easily accessible from most locations on the Sunshine Coast. Cooroy Golf Course was opened in 1936 as a nine hole course but was expanded in 2005 with a second set of 9 holes, making the current 18 hole layout.

The club offers special deals for all avid golfers and beginners, and each week includes a veterans day, women’s special day, chook run, social club, and men’s special day. Visitors who want to come here in a group for social golfing are eligible for group discounts.

There is also a clubhouse on-site with an outside deck that looks over the 1st fairway and 18th green. This makes it an ideal setting to sit and relax with a hot or cold drink after a challenging game of golf.
