Charles Clarke Park is a great place to visit in the heart of Mooloolaba, especially if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle.
The park was named after Charles Clarke, who, in 1965, contributed economic improvements to Mooloolaba through his entrepreneurial efforts. He managed the Palmwoods-Buderim tramline, and in 1925, he bought land on the Mooloolaba River banks.

By 1965, the Mooloolaba-Alexandra headland Progress Association decided to name the park after him.
