Caloundra Marketplace is a great place to shop, though there are many other excellent choices to discover while you’re in town too. The next best place to visit if you need to shop is Bulcock Street, with this beautiful, tree-lined street being home to dozens of retailers, shops, and services. You’ll find virtually everything here, including entertainment, fashion, food, beauty, home and furniture, gifts, and so much more. It’s also where the Centrepoint Shopping Plaza is located, featuring numerous specialty shops and a food court.
If you want to experience a truly local way of shopping, do make time for the markets. The Caloundra Street Fair Markets are the king of them all; they occur every Sunday at Bulcock Street from 8am to 1pm. The markets showcase fresh produce, gourmet food, a great variety of bread, and more with live music and art.
There’s also the Caloundray Country, and Farmer’s Market, which takes place at Central Park each Sunday from 7am to 12 noon. It’s an excellent market for shopping for fresh fruits, vegetables, seafood, flowers, plants, handmade arts, clothes, toys, and more.
In between all that shopping, why not enjoy your produce in a picnic at one of Caloundra’s many beaches? It’s what makes the town so famous, after all. There’s so many to choose from, too: Golden Beach, Bulcock Beach, Moffat Beach, Kings Beach, Shelly Beach, and Dicky Beach are all stunning destinations.
Caloundra Marketplace is a terrific place to start your shopping excursions in town.
