Inskip Point is one of the best destinations for fishing of all kinds. It can be done from the boat and the shore, but game fishing, offshore reef fishing, bottom bashing, jigging, trolling, and fly fishing can all be done from here too.
Bullock Point is close to many popular camping areas in Inskip too. The camping areas are shaded by cypress pine, beach she-oaks, as well as other coastal trees. Keep in mind that camping permits are required and should be purchased before setting up camp. The Inskip Peninsula Recreation Area is another popular camping spot. The facilities include toilets, an information hub, and picnic tables. Visitors enjoy canoeing and kayaking here, and campfires are allowed.
Check out Rainbow Beach nearby, a scenic beach with lots of opportunities for adventure. It’s popular for camping and fishing and for anyone who wants to spend time by the sea. It’s only 10 minutes north of Inskip Peninsula, and it’s a good access point for accessing Fraser Island – a World Heritage-listed destination.
