The park’s thoughtful amenities make it easy to spend the entire day here. Parents can relax in the undercover seating area cooking a BBQ while watching the kids play on the playground. The little ones love the climbing blocks, slides, climbing web, spinners, and other play equipment on site.

Brightwater Park has a lovely grassy area with lots of space for kids and adults who want to unwind on a picnic mat or play some games. It’s also a popular destination for families with pets, as they added a dog park. Feel free to bring your dogs so they can enjoy hours of playing off-leash!

If you feel like exploring other family-friendly parks on the Sunshine Coast, the good news is that there are many! Head over to Tickle Park at Coolum Beach, conveniently located near a patrolled beach and shopping district. Visitors can use the BBQ facilities or let the kids have some fun at the incredible playground.

Bells Reach Adventure Playground is another excellent park not too far from Brightwater Park. Featuring terrific climbing equipment, as well as a pirate crow’s nest, sandpit toys, and much more, there is no doubt children love the park. Large open spaces are inviting for sports, a picnic, or even a BBQ. Other popular parks include Pioneer Park and Cotton Tree Park.
